What can I say.. just the truth.

I called Jerry through a recommendation, explained to him my situation along with my expectations. He paused and listened. Didn't judge... 5 minutes later, while driving, he pulled over, listened more and booked me into his already busy schedule.

Lesson one, day one...super nervous. Never met this guy, only been recommended through word of mouth, within 2 mins... you know, well you know... i've made the right decision. Jerry made me feel at ease, relaxed and in a safe environment to start my journey of driving.

When you tap into 15+ years of his experience, he gives a level of knowledge but more importantly, confidence and belief.

After every hour behind the wheel, I left the car with reassurance rather than pressure, knowing i'm a safe driver but also a confident driver with the knowledge I can pass my test.

Jerry genuinely cared about my pass rate which is ironic. as a business man myself, it would make sense for me to fail as i'm a seated ATM (private joke). Jerry wanted me to pass, literally waiting outside the test centre on my return. Not in the waiting room, drinking a coffee, literally outside with a look of genuine concern and willing for that pass certification.

I'm slightly sad writing this review/assesment as I will genuinely miss driving around Southend without my new found friend.

Starting out, as a new driver is hard enough, let alone the pressure of everything else along the way. so having someone like Jerry in the passenger seat with a calm, mature and experienced mentality is something that you can't put a price on.

Thinking about a driving lesson.. thinking about changing an instructor. Thinking it's time to finally get behind the wheel....??

Jerry is one of the most genuine people I have ever met and someone who honestly cares! I was so nervous to get back into driving after 2 years off. I just didn't think I could wrap my head around it. After a difficult start to driving, I refused to learn to drive with anyone else but Jerry. If he couldn't fit me in when he did, I would have waited. I have never been recommended someone so much in my life... but I can for certain see why.

Jerry made me feel so at ease from day one! He dealt with me being a perfectionist, all my stress, me doubting myself. He dealt with it all and really made me feel like I could actuall do this and I genuinely wouldn't have the confidence I do to drive now if it wasn't for him!

I whole heartedly looked looked forward to our lessons, even with all the Dad jokes! I don't know how he put up with me for over a year! Where to even begin, I passed my driving test today because of Jerry. Without Jerrys patients, hard work and consistency with me, I would never had made it here today.
